Sadat X is a Bronx-born hip-hop artist and founding member of the legendary group Brand Nubian. Raised between the Bronx and New Rochelle, New York, he developed his love for music early through DJing and a deep exposure to diverse records from his father’s collection. Before emerging as a rapper, he was known as DJ D-Rock and Kid Paradise. Sadat X’s journey also includes a strong foundation in discipline and leadership—he was a standout basketball player in high school and later played point guard for Howard University.
