Legend (Collaborator) Contract

Collaboration Agreement (“Agreement”)

This Collaboration Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on by and between:

The Legend – the artist providing a creative contribution under the RapCollabs platform, and
The Talent – the client commissioning the collaboration project.

Together, the Legend and the Talent are referred to as the “Parties.”

By signing below, the Parties expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions which govern their collaboration:

1. Payment Assurance

The Legend shall receive the fee stated at the time of order through the RapCollabs platform. Payment is facilitated and held in accordance with the RapCollabs payment system and shall be released only upon fulfillment of this Agreement. The Legend acknowledges that no further fees or royalties shall be due beyond the agreed fee.

2. Delivery of Contribution

The Legend agrees to record and deliver their contribution (vocals, verse, or other creative material) within the timeline stated in the order. Contributions must be delivered in a professional, usable format (e.g., WAV stems, 24-bit/48kHz preferred) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Transfer of Rights

Upon full payment, the Legend hereby assigns and transfers to the Talent all rights, ownership, and interests in and to their recorded contribution. This includes, but is not limited to, all publishing rights, master recording rights, performance rights, and royalty entitlements.

The Legend waives any and all claims to royalties, backend income, or further ownership in the final collaboration.

4. Credit and Attribution

The Talent may credit the Legend in the final release as:
“Artist: ft. ” (or similar industry standard format).
Credit is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged as recognition of the Legend’s contribution.

5. Representations and Warranties

The Legend represents and warrants that:

Their contribution is original and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
They have the full legal right to enter into this Agreement and grant the rights described herein.

The Talent represents and warrants that they will not use the Legend’s name, likeness, or brand for misleading, defamatory, or unlawful purposes.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of , without regard to conflict of law principles.

7. Binding Effect

This Agreement shall be binding upon and enforceable by both Parties immediately upon their signature below. By signing, each Party affirms that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms set forth herein.
